English
1. Information processed
When the user starts a scan, the extension processes information already visible or loaded on the active YouTube video or Shorts page: the video page URL, video identifier, title and channel name; loaded comment text; comment author display name; displayed like count and publication time; a comment source link when available; and an optional idea title or note entered by the user.
2. Purpose
The information is used only to classify, filter, select, edit, and export audience research evidence requested by the user.
3. Local processing and storage
Processing occurs locally in the user's browser. The extension does not persist comment data in extension storage or on a developer server. Working data exists in page memory for the current session and is discarded when the page or extension context is reloaded or closed.
4. Data transmission and sharing
The extension does not transmit, sell, or share processed information with the developer or third-party servers. It has no developer-operated backend, analytics, advertising, or external AI service. CSV downloads and Markdown clipboard copies occur only after a user action and remain under the user's control.
5. Permissions
https://www.youtube.com/* is used to display the research panel and read comments already loaded on supported YouTube video and Shorts pages. The extension does not request access to browsing history, identity, email, contacts, payment information, location, camera, or microphone.
6. Security
The extension minimizes data handling by processing locally and requesting only the website access required for its single purpose.
7. Changes
If the information processed or the extension's features change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated.
8. Contact
Questions can be submitted through GitHub Issues.
